F is For Flamingo

Creating an alphabet book with the kids hands and feet prints has been so much fun!

I love this idea for getting a foot print and turning it into a super cute flamingo!

How cute is this guy?! He is definitely my favorite! And so easy to make.

Materials

Here’s what you’ll need to make this cute simple project

Washable paint to work with kids,
card-stock paper is easier to hold up to paint,
markers for the extras,
I think this is the perfect color of PINK for a flamingo!

FUN FACTS FOR KIDS

*Flamingos get their pink color from the shrimp and algae they eat.

*They stand on one leg to conserve heat.

*A group of flamingos is called a “flamboyance”.

*Babies are born grey not pink.

*Flamingos can live up to 60 years in the wild.
